This is definitely the largest number of people I have ever had to arrrange (with the help of Charles Humber) for a single photograph.
The former governor general of Canada, the Rt Hon Daniel Roland Michener (1900-1991), is standing in the foreground. To take the picture, I stood on the cab of a large truck with a Superwide Hasselblad camera. The photograph was then used on a large 49 by 65 cm. poster, which you can see to the right of the group picture. |
